gfish pointed out this simply stunning collection of vehicles with insufficient wheels. I'm entranced. Wouldn't it be great to make a bunch of these and go race them?

Any of you keeping up on the Federal Housing Finance Reform Act of 2005? I particularly like how they prevent non-profit organizations that do work with voter registration and lobbying from receiving federal housing funding, but not the for-profit organizations. I used to claim that eventually our country would go back to only landowners being allowed to vote, but this is much less mediapathic: just squeeze a little here and there, and tens of thousands of potential voters suddenly don't vote. And one guess what demographic feels the squeeze? Like, did anyone else in Colorado notice how the returns from yesterday's election were delayed because they ran out of ballots in the Pueblo area? Not in Highlands Ranch or Aspen, but Pueblo.

We saw a raccoon the size of a large Labrador Retriever dead by the side of the road today, whilst riding FAR too quickly. It was the hardest lunchtime ride yet, and I'm still having to be careful when I stand up quickly, lest I faint.

*glares at you for riding that hard*

I feel like I'm going to faint from my school workload at the moment. It's positively insane. Beyond insane. Completely loony. As I am from trying to get it all done...

Riding that hard is *good* -- I'm getting all skinny and lumpy and stuff.

I'm sorry the school is a little overwhelming. Good thing you have the jump on the phlebotomy part, huh?

perfect burning man project too, altho i would do it far differently than the other burners who made one.

Me too. I have some plans along this line, and have for a while. We'll see if it ever gets done, but now that I have a welder, the only thing holding me back is me.

I can imagine that, although with a solid surface, keeping the thing upright is fairly simple but on water I think it's likely to tip unless it has outriders of some sort. Plus you're likely to get a very wet butt.

Consarn it, I thought my similar design for a tandem recumbent mountain unicycle was original. At least the idea of using it as a band name hasn't been stolen so far...

I remember that page from yay-long ago, and thought YOU gave me the link! My shame.

In other news: riding too hard is probably a better way to get sick than following legislation.

I hope to see you soon. I'm sorry I've fallen off on the emailing.

It's okay. Email will happen again.
The legislation gives me the mad, not the dizzy.

And whose fault IS IT that we were going too fast? Hmmm?? It was YOUR shiny butt I was staring at for almost the entire ride.
